The Ajit Bhawan is India's first Heritage Palace Resort, and also a home to the members of a branch of the Jodhpur Royal family.

Set in the Rajasthan desert, Ajit Bhawan is known for the warmth of its hospitality and Rajput charm. Built for the personal use of Maharaja Sir Ajit Singhji Rathore, the younger brother of Maharaj Umaid Singhji of the erstwhile Jodhpur state, Ajit Bhawan is a sprawling resort with pretty gardens. There are Six Suites, Ten Luxury Tents and Fifty Eight rooms, fully equipped with the conveniences required for a luxurious stay. A part of Ajit Bhawan is still occupied by the royal family that supervises the proceedings and look after the guests personally. The décor of the rooms is a mix of the Raj splendour and modernity.

Dining at Ajit Bhawan is at any of its three gourmet restaurants offering Indian and continental cuisines. There is even a lounge bar and a facility for in-room meals.
