Some of the interesting apartments within the palace are: Mubarak Mahal It is also known as the 'Auspicious Palace' and was constructed by Maharaja Madho Singh II in the 19th century. Here you can see the textile section of the Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II Museum. Diwan-I-Khas or 'Hall of Private Audience' It is a beautiful hall decked with a double row of columns with a series of arches. The two largest silver vessels in the world are also displayed here. Diwan-E-Aam or the 'Hall of Public Audience' The interiors of this hall are embellished with bright red and gold work, Persian carpets, miniature paintings and astronomical manuscripts in Persian and Sanskrit languages. Chandra Mahal or the 'Moon Palace' This palace flaunts its amazing mirror work, floral decoration and paintings. Sukh Niwas or the 'Hall of Rest' It is the place where the Maharajas would dine at the beautiful glass dining table. The apartment is decorated with Mughal miniatures. Shobha Niwas or the 'Hall of Beauty' It is famous for its mirror work, walls embellished with blue tiled dadoes and gold leaf and mica ornamentation.
